P&C Past Projects

Over the past few years the Oyster Bay Public School P&C Association, together with our much loved Art and Craft Festival, has proudly supported our students and school community in so many ways. From improving classrooms and learning spaces to funding new technology, playground equipment and creative programs, every dollar raised goes straight back to enriching the experience of our students.

• Brand new library furniture and books to create a welcoming space for reading and learning
• A beautiful K–2 nature playground for our youngest learners
• iPads for every student at the primary site to ensure no one is left behind
• Bright wall murals that make our playground a fun and friendly place to play
• A thriving vegetable garden for hands-on learning
• New handball courts that are always full of laughter and energy

What is a P&C?

Hi there and welcome to our new website!

We're a group of parents just like you, juggling life while making time to give back to our school. Our mission? It's all about creating a nurturing community where our kids can thrive, have fun, and explore endless possibilities.

So, what do we do? Well, a bit of everything, really! From planning activities outside of class to cake days, BBQs, assisting with arts and craft festivals, and even managing the canteen and uniform shop!

While we've got you here, there's just one thing – we're always on the lookout for more helping hands. If you've got any great ideas or would love to be involved, we'd love to have you join us! Shoot us a message through the CONTACT US page, or better yet, swing by our monthly P&C meetings (they're on the second Wednesday of every month).

What is a P&C?

Art and Craft Festival Info for Parents

Our Art and Craft Festival will run from 29 to 31 May 2026. It is one of the biggest events of the year and brings our school community together. The weekend is full of stalls, food, art displays and entertainment. Every family plays a part in making it happen.

How the voluntold system works

If you need to swap your shift, do not stress. We have a Facebook group set up for roster swaps. Parents use it every year and it keeps everything organised. Once you post your swap request, someone will pick it up and the change will be recorded for you. There is nothing else you need to do.

Want to join the festival team

If you want to get involved behind the scenes, we would love the help. The roles range from small to large and there is something for everyone. You can put your hand up here.

What to expect

The weekend is fun, busy and full of school spirit. Children love seeing their parents involved. The funds raised go directly back to improving our school, so every shift makes a real difference.
